The AHS Varioflex in-ground roller brake tester is strong, durable and built for the toughest of commercial vehicle test centre and heavy duty workshop requirements. It is capable of testing a complete range of vehicles from car, vans, trucks, buses and trailers. Recommended Upgrades

To test in line with Irelands brake testing regulations we recommend the following upgrades:

Load simulation – if testing vehicles with DGVW over 3500kg, then the brakes are required to be tested under load. Load simulation pulls a load on the axle being brake tested by using 2 hydraulic rams strapped to the axle and engaged.
Axle weigh bridge – necessary to monitor the weight being loaded onto the axle being brake tested. Also necessary if testing vehicles like jeeps and vans with a DGVW under 35000kg and brake efficiencies are calculated from presented weight.
Bi-directional motors upgrade kit so the each sides rotation can be changed or turned off altogether.
