In 2004 we started our garage equipment business, we began by becoming distributors for AHS Pruftechnik and providing AHS roller brake testers and other test lane equipment to CVRT centres in Ireland.

We quickly established ourselves as one of Ireland's leading garage equipment providers, particularly specialising in the supply and maintenance of roller brake testers and other test lane equipment, as well as heavy duty lifting equipment and workshop tools to the commercial vehicle test and repair industry

We supply and install commercial vehicle workshops and test centres throughout Ireland with equipment such as brake testers, play detectors, lifting equipment, pre-fabricated inspection pits and plenty more ancillary workshop equipment and tools. We work closely with all our manufacturers to ensure we provide the latest and highest quality machinery possible

John opens his first commercial vehicle maintenance workshop along with his sons Brian, Dave and Derek

We begin commercial vehicle testing on the Naas road in Dublin

Automotive Services, a commercial vehicle test and repair centre, is established by John and Derek on the Kylemore road in Dublin.

Fleetminder is launched, the original workshop management system, built in house by our programmers and mechanics. Over 15 years Fleetminder will develop and grow and eventually become one of the most successful garage management systems in Ireland and the UK. Fleetminder formed the basis for what will later become Assetminder

ASC Garage Equipment is established. We begin our journey as heavy duty equipment suppliers by becoming distributors for AHS Pruftechnik in Ireland and installing their high quality roller brake testers and other test lane equipment in CVRT test centres and maintenance workshops across Ireland

Assetminder fleet maintenance software is established, the next step in our evolution. Assetminder provides a complete cloud based solution to the maintenance requirements of a modern fleet operator or workshop manager. To date Assetminder is used by over 250 companies in Ireland and the UK.

We part ways with our own test and repair centre in and focus solely on our garage equipment business. We relaunch as Assetminder Garage Equipment. We successfully integrate our brake testing equipment with Assetminder software and the ASA network, becoming the first company in the world to integrate the ASA network with an android device
